Consulted with growers and packers to improve Asian sales by establishing a refrigerated shipping network, and by creating joint venture merchandising and sales promotion programs between U.S. and foreign partners. Participated in joint venture set up with a major Japanese dairy company to pack and distribute frozen and juice products.

Marketing and Distribution Management
As division president of a multinational company in Japan, expanded banana and pineapple base to include citrus, grapes, avocados, asparagus and kiwifruit sourced worldwide. Created a direct sales system in Japan. Introduced value-added repacking facilities at port of entry in Japan to increase customer service and develop a new line of products. Initiated banana and fresh pineapple sales to Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Middle East.

E-Commerce
Consulted with global perishable portal. Provided Asian domain expertise, helped set up joint ventures, and recruit possible Asian partners for the company.
